Clear ideas?

We all have ideas. And often they come to us 'out of the blue' (or, perhaps, as a Nietzsche or Freud would have it, from the subconscious). But unless we have strong facts to back them up, they may not go down so well with people around us. Does this suggest that people will respect your only when your communication with them is clear, organized, and well thought out?

Thanks for your comment.

No, I can't tell you whether the ideas behind your artwork are clear or not. And does it matter? Because fine art is about self-expression (unlike design where the designer typically designs 'for others' - and my blog is in the context of design rather than art).

Yet ideas matter, and they are embedded in the artist's work. And the artist may want to make those ideas explicit by telling us (the audience) about them, for example, in an artist statement.

And, yes, I like your work!
